In this space, you will find all the information about how the course works and access to its four modules.

Accessibility is a journey and in this module we will take you through your first steps.  You will be introduced to the basics of accessibility, the role of Assistive Technology, the concept of Universal Design for Learning and the legal framework that exists to aid people with disabilities.

Web accessibility is the key to creating accessible content.  Learn how to integrate accessibility into all aspects of your content creation from Layout, Text, and Links to Tables, Images and Media.

Media resources are being used more frequently in education today. Whether in the format of video clips, podcasts or written articles, it offers teachers and students opportunities to reinforce concepts and promote more in-depth learning and interaction.  While it offers greater choice in creating content, it should be made accessible and not exclude usability.

Working with documents is integral to academic and corporate life, so ensuring they are accessible is crucial to making their content available to everyone. In this module we will teach you how to thoughtfully create accessible documents. We will take you through the variety of issues that can impact document accessibility and how to fix them. So, whether you are preparing a webpage, spreadsheet, presentation or uploading content to Moodle, following the guiding principles in this module will help you ensure accessibility when creating documents.
